Cotton Linen

Wash

• Dry cleaning is preferred
• Machine wash (gentle cycle) or hand wash as instructed
• Warm or cool water
• Use a safe detergent

Drying

• Machine dry using moderate-to-low heat

Ironing

• Iron on high heat while fabric is slightly damp
• Use steam as needed

Storing

• Store cotton in a cool, dark cupboard to avoid exposure
• Ensure to store the fabric separately and appropriately as cotton may react to other materials

Cotton Silk

Wash

• Dry cleaning is preferred
• Gently hand wash
• Cold Water
• Use a pH neutral liquid cleaner
• Do not soak only rinse

Drying

• Do not wring
• Do not tumble dry
• Hang away from direct sunlight

Ironing

• Cool iron

Storing

• Store in cool, dry place
• Recommended to be wrapped in muslin cloth

Silk

Wash

• Dry cleaning is preferred
• Gently hand wash as instructed (wash colours separately)
• Cold water
• Use a silk-friendly detergent
• Rinse with fresh water
• Use fabric conditioner as final step

Drying

• Gently place flat on a towel, roll it up, and lightly press against the towel base to remove excess water
• Lay flat on a dry surface
• Or hang dry away from direct sunlight

Ironing

• Turn garments inside out and set the iron to low heat (or the silk setting)
• Iron only once completely dry
• Place a cloth between the silk and the iron.

Storing

• Store in a clean, breathable fabric bag
• Store away from sunlight
• Add moth repellent to your wardrobe

Cashmere

Wash

• Dry cleaning is preferred
• Hand wash
• Warm/Lukewarm Water
• Use a delicate detergent
• Soak for few minutes

Drying

• Do not wring, only knead gently
• Place flat on a towel and roll while adding pressure to remove excess water
• Leave on a dry, flat surface to dry
• Keep away from direct sunlight

Ironing

• Do not iron

Storing

• Store in cotton bags

Pashmina

Wash

• Dry cleaning is preferred
• *Preferably Dry Clean*
• Hand wash
• Lukewarm Water
• Use a mild detergent such as baby cloth detergent
• Soak for thirty minutes
• Use clean, cold water for rinsing

Drying

• Gently place flat on a towel, roll it up, and lightly press against the towel base to remove excess water
• Leave on a dry, flat surface to dry
• Keep away from direct sunlight

Ironing

• Do not iron

Storing

• Store in a cool dry place
• Wrap in muslin cloth
• Add Naphthalene balls to prevent moths

Fine Wool

Wash

• Dry cleaning is preferred
• Hand wash only
• Turn clothes inside out
• Lukewarm Water
• Use a mild detergent or wool detergent
• Soak for ten minutes
• Rinse twice, once in warm water and second in cold water

Drying

• Do not wring
• Gently place flat on a towel, roll it up, and lightly press against the towel base to remove excess water
• Leave on a dry, flat surface to dry
• Keep away from direct sunlight

• Store in an airtight bag or container
